About Knightdale

Knightdale, just east of Raleigh, has kept a friendly small-town feel while giving itself room to grow. Downtown Raleigh is a short drive away.

The town's centerpiece is Knightdale Station Park, 71 acres of former farm and nursery land rebuilt around a central pond. It has an amphitheater for concerts and movies, a splash pad, an inclusive playground, a disc golf course, a dog park and walking trails, and it hosts many of the town's festivals.

For longer outings, the Mingo Creek Trail runs 3.4 paved miles, partly on boardwalks over wetlands, to Raleigh's 27-mile Neuse River Trail, the longest in Raleigh's greenway system.

Property tax in Knightdale
