Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms apply to your use of rdurecorder.com ("the site"), run by RDU Recorder ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What the site is
The site summarizes public records about the Raleigh-Durham Triangle: development plans, rezonings, road and city projects, tax rates, budgets, foreclosure filings and local government meetings. It links to the official source for each fact. It is not a real estate brokerage, and nothing on it is legal, tax, financial, lending or investment advice.
Information may be wrong or out of date
Public records can be incomplete, late or wrong, and our copies and summaries can contain errors. Some summaries are written by an AI model and checked automatically; they can still miss or misstate things. Plans, projects and rates change. Always check the official source before relying on anything here. If a record and the site disagree, the record is right.
Tools and estimates
Calculators and estimates are for general information. They aren't loan offers, rate quotes, appraisals or guarantees of what you will pay.
Using the site
- Don't use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass, solicit or contact homeowners in violation of the law (including North Carolina's foreclosure-rescue and do-not-call laws).
- Don't copy the site in bulk, scrape it with automated tools, or put an unreasonable load on it.
- Don't try to get into parts of the site or its systems that aren't public.
